LORD my God, Holy One of Israel, my Savior, thank You for always being near and for Your unending faithfulness. This culture that we live in is so fast-paced. Yet, even a few quiet moments spent each morning with You reminds me that You are leading me with a steady and sure hand. I love how You are always with me and continuously on my mind.
It was 9:30 am when I hurriedly drove to the local grocery store. “Another full day of ministry,” I thought as I tried to clear my mind of distractions. I walked through the automatic doors of the large store pushing a bulky grocery cart. Immediately, I began to place items in my cart. I struggled to focus on gathering the items I needed when suddenly a voice came over the store’s loudspeaker. "Have you tried our Jesus yet?" I thought I heard the woman say. I suddenly stopped moving. The announcer continued... "If not, You need to try our Jesus today!" Stunned, I asked myself, “What did she just say?” Then, with all my mind I listened intently, not moving a muscle until the announcer repeated her pitch. “Come over to the deli and try our cheeses. Our cheeses are the best.” She said.
I began to chuckle as I grinned ear to ear. "Oh...cheeses." Clearly, LORD, You are my every thought!
