Jesus, my Lord, and Savior, this morning while still smiling over yesterday’s sweet quiet moment with You, I opened my bible yet again. Before beginning to read, I allowed the pages to fall and land as they may. The pages landed upon Isaiah 54:5-6.
“For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth. For the LORD has called you Like a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, Like a youthful wife when you were refused,” Says your God.” Isaiah 54:5-6 (NKJV)
Instantly, I felt swept up by the thought of being Your bride! I immediately put my head to the floor and began to praise and worship You, my heavenly husband. I prayed, "Jesus, I’d like to thank You for being so lovingly delicate with my heart today. Thank You for reigniting the flame of my faith in such a personal way. Just when I began to feel overwhelmed and broken, You gently picked me up and carried me. I love You too LORD. Amen."
